dc.concourt.synopsis This matter concerns a dispute for the right to succeed as Hosi (chief) of the Valoyi tribe in Limpopo. The applicants had applied for leave to appeal against a decision of the Supreme Court of Appeal. A day before the matter was due to be heard by this Court, the respondent gave notice that he intended to apply for postponement. The Court granted a postponement and issued directions in regard to the lodging of supplementary written argument. Majority: Van der Westhuizen J (unanimous).
