dc.concourt.synopsis Urgent application for direct access dismissed. In 2004 the Court invalidated a presidential proclamation and suspended the order for eighteen months. Applicants requested a further suspension of 25 days. The majority per Van der Westhuizen J held that the period of suspension had already expired and the Court could not revive the invalid proclamation.
